On one of his happier days, the doctor decides to sort out his personal life and propose to his beloved Valentina. However, his son, who is still struggling to come to terms with the death of his mother, is against his father getting married. Realizing the complexity of the situation, Valentina breaks up with her beloved friend. Prykhodko finds the strength to overcome his depression and prepares for his first heart transplant operation.
