Hans-Peter has no idea that his daughter has dropped out of university and is restoring furniture instead. Nor does he know that his wife Franziska has applied for a job as an exhibition curator in Berlin. Suspecting that she is having an affair, Hans-Peter follows her - to the city that he associates mainly with bums, dog poo and traffic jams...
